Who Am I
Valerie is an educator, certified yoga instructor, and long-time yoga practitioner with over 10 years of experience. What began as a joyful physical practice gradually evolved into a deeper exploration of movement, mindfulness, and personal growth. Through continuous learning, Valerie has developed a strong understanding of how yoga supports both physical well-being and mental clarity.

Teaching is central to her work, and she is passionate about sharing inspiration, knowledge, and practical tools with her students.

Outside the studio, Valerie enjoys kitesurfing and strength training. She recognises yoga as a powerful complement for kitesurfers and athletes, helping to build essential core strength, flexibility, breath control, and mental focus.
What I Offer
Valerie believes that practicing yoga asanas can bring strength in both mind and body. Through intentional movement and mindful breathing, we experience the different way of meditation—one that is engaging, dynamic, and deeply rewarding. The sweat, the heat, and occasional soreness are simply part of the process, helping us grow stronger and more resilient.
Valerie offers modifications and variations for students of all levels. She believes that everyone is built differently; therefore, there is no right or wrong pose—but poses that guide you toward stillness.
While each student may take something different from her classes, Valerie’s intention is to help you find balance, strength, and flexibility both on and off the mat.
Classes are offered weekly at Salt Water Studios in Worthing and casually at South Down Leisure Centre.
